Il Respiro del Sole
Twelve poems, set to music. The first album from Aurelic Studios.
Begin with the single.
Twelve songs in the order the sun keeps them, first light to the hour after dark. Each belongs to a time of day. The page knows yours.
Every song here was a poem first.
They were written to be read, not sung: in the margins of mornings, over the years the practice of first light took hold. Then some of them would not stay on the page. A line kept a tempo. A stanza wanted a chorus. So the poems were given what they were asking for: a key, a pulse, a voice.
Il Respiro del Sole is a book on the Aurelic shelf and an album of the same name: one day told twice, once in ink and once aloud. Read it before the day makes its demands. Listen to it after.
Words by Giuseppe Calcagno. Sung in Italian. Solis, MMXXVI.
The album lives here first.
Streaming everywhere soon. The day it arrives there, the letter will say so.
